Facebook announced that prototype version of Facebook’s photo uploader will soon be rolling out to all users. Expected changes are listed below:
i) The new uploader will require the installation of a browser plug-in
ii) The photos will continue to upload in the background even if user leaves Facebook
iii) The new uploader will support additional photo formats – the new formats are not specified yet.
